PROJECT GOALS, ACHIEVEMENTS, AND BENEFITS

McGovern McDonald Engineers (MME) developed the robust LID Life Cycle Cost Benefit Model for stormwater management practices such as green roofs, pervious pavement, bioretention, and cisterns. The spreadsheet model, based on user selections, determined the costs of the stormwater measure and the bill savings to the customer. The Model also computed the water and sewer system savings, the energy savings, and the revenue losses to the City. This tool presented costs and benefits to implement these measures and to identify a basis of valuation for incentives. This model is one of three models that was used to support triple bottom line and future watershed assessments.
